Competition Fosters Personal Growth
Located in east Nairobi's Mukuru Kwa Njenga slum, FA Mukuru Combine coaches have recruited boys and girls from all the local slum villages -- Mukuru Kwa Njenga, Mukuru Kwa Reuben, Mukuru Kwa Lunga Lunga and others -- for practice and league football matches several times per week.
Football keeps them off the streets. It pushes them to develop their coordination, physicality, ability to work as part of a team and sense of competitiveness.
In an area plagued by violent crime, extrajudicial killings by police and mob justice, football might be this impoverished generation's greatest asset.
We need you to keep it going.
To donate equipment or sponsor a team. Please contact Head Coach Patrick, who is also the acting President of FA Mukuru Combine. His details are on our "Contact" page.
